Not that I have a huge following anyway, all five of you do rule, but now the time has come to focus on bigger and better things.
So without anymore nonsense I proudly present to you the new internet/blog home I will be working with:
http://blugoldpiratepodcast.tumblr.com/
It will be the site we run our podcast through, updated regularly with images/other media. It's all about UW-EC Blugold sports, parties, life, and all the other important things (girls, animals, music, art, whatever we feel like at all times).
Get your groove on sons and daughters. Much love.

Did I Forget?
No, I have not forgotten about blog city. However, life is busy and the homework keeps piling up and that isn't a good sign since I'm not even into wrestling season yet. Oof.
I've been a witness to what many others have agreed is perhaps the 'hottest' year as far as women on the university campus. It's pretty good. Haha
If Kaney ever decides to not be a deadbeat and gets back to me, the podcast will get up and at you quite soon.
Remember that movie 40 Year Old Virgin? Well, you know how I know I'm gay? I just listened to The Academy Is... "Coppertone" just now and actually really liked it. Must be way past my bedtime or something.

Wait...What?
So it's been super hectic with school being back in session. Only 5 days of class so far and already I'm about 250 pages of reading BEHIND. No joke. Should probably be at the library right now finishing up a Sociological Data Analysis work sheet, but I forgot my printer paper and was way too lazy to go back home and get it, especially stoked on that since it was the third time just today that I forgot to bring paper with me.
Something interesting to say? Hmmm....good news, our first podcast ever will be in production over the coming weekend and with that we will hopefully be kicking off our new blog/website! I'm very stoked on it. We will be working with any/all of our friends and looking to include all sorts of local talent. Going beyond our own resident musicians, writers, and artists. So if you know people locally who do graffiti, music, whatever. Let us know.
Oh and yeah, parites? Where you at!? We're going to be adding that to the mix as well. There are hundreds every weekend in this city, time to document them (keeping individuals identities concealed of course)! So get word out! Get at us! Follow the podcast once it is up! More info coming within the next couple days. Like, after I finish this homework that I should be doing instead of writing this. Peace!

I Am The Man With The Ball
Well here it is. September! The weather is amazing, school is about to start and all of our favorite TV shows are beginning their new seasons sooner or later. One of the shows that keeps me and all my friends tripping is most definitely Eastbound & Down which airs on HBO. Thanks again Seth, you have shown me the light. Basically if you like baseball half as much as I do and also like crazy washed up ball players who live with their brother and raise hell, you need to get in on this right away as season 2 is going to begin airing later this month (stoked).
ANYWAY!
The reason for this 'post' is really simple. The show is hilarious and I've managed to make crappy quality 'ringtones' (m4r) and mp3's of these moments. And, in an effort to begin to expand this blog, and to help maybe up some traffic (? tell your friends about this stuff!) before we begin running our podcast, mixtapes, or whatever else we feel like upping, we want people to be down.
So without further blogging crap, I present to you, 4 of the selected funny moments from season 1 in mp3/m4r in one .rar file. Enjoy!
Get it hurrrrr:

Welcome Freshmen!
So I've been gone for a minute.
It's alright, have no fear, the new Yeah That Happened moments are coming! It's been a very busy last month, I've actually been working at my job (yeah, they decided to give me more than 14 hours a week WOOHOO!) and I've been getting ready for school. Which brings me to a little topic to kick it off, financial aid.
Well here is the deal, since I'm an old guy (over 24) I get some sweet financial aid from the government. I think it is fair, between high school and going to college I spent a couple years pulling over 19k which is pretty good for a dude with no real bills and cheap rent. Of course I blew it all and somehow got into bad credit (I'm amazing). So yeah, anyway, I get fin aid because I need it to survive, especially during season when, because of a combination of school, practice, gym time, and church/family obligations I only can work one day a week. Well, I got an 'audit' this year. Something they do every year to 30% of all students receiving aid. So I get it and finally go find my tax info and whatever else they want and bring it in to the office. A painless and quick procedure, right?
WRONG.
So I call them this week because I get an e-mail letting me know that they need something from me to finish processing my financial aid. So being concerned I call the school right away. They double check and yes, everything was in order and 'processing' but here is the kicker, the 'processing' periods takes as long as SIX WEEKS. Yes, SIX WEEKS. So now I won't get my fin aid until like September 25th or something. A full three-and-a-half weeks into the semester. So being as I live a trife life, I have no money to spend on the stuff I need for school such as text books, etc. So yeah, no love from the fin aid office means I'm going to be without required texts unless I come up with an extra loan tomorrow morning. Should be a fun process...
NEXT UP: The Poll.
The people have spoken and the next topic people wanted to hear about: The women in my life. There are quite a few, not that I am a big deal, but it happens. I'm in college, surrounded by drunk girls on a campus that is 65% female. DUH! I'll be sure to keep you updated on that.
Exciting things to keep your eyes and ears open for:
Look for a podcast from yours truly, along with two good friends. Music and pure personality will collide. I hope you can handle it.
I have a lot of audio to sift through from some of our escapades and don't know if I'll ever actually get around to it, but you can check it out on here and myspace.com/zuckocircus
There are sooooo many other things in the works as well that I can't even touch 'em all because each is a big deal and I don't want the few people who read this to get lost in the magnitude of what we are going to try and do with this blog.
Keep tuned in...we are just getting this started my people.

A Little Treat
Viraemia:
Amazing death/tech band from AZ. New EP, here for sampling in one track. If you like it, you should probably buy it, it's cheap and they are crazy. 10-String bass, wut? Yeah, that happened.
